I looked around and saw (AT and Gigabyte's site) that a Springdale motherboard does not support DDR400 memory When running 533FSB CPU's.
Why is that?
Is there a way to get around it?
Do Canterwoods support this?

You dont need DDR400 for a 533 FSB because DDR333 is more than enough with 2 stick of ram in Dual Channel mode.

My Abit IS7 Springdale supports DDR400 with a 533FSB processro, I would think other brands would too.

I suppose its just the Gigabyte board I ordered, then :(
really wanted the IS7 but it was too hard to get. (meaning, became as expensive as a canterwood if I finally got it)
