Is there such a thing as a DDR400 duel channels AMD mobo with out onboard anything. I would like to find a plan board with nothing onboard, because I like all the cards I have and don't want to waste money on a board loaded with stuff won't use.

Why would you want Dual (Not Duel) Channel DDR400? The Athlon XP's run at a 266mhz FSB and if by chance you have a thoroughbred they have a 333 mhz buss. Dual Channel DDR400 would be total overkill :)

I believe the nforce 2 has dual channel DDR333 or DDR400 (Not quite sure), but that has everything integrated :)

DDR400 Duel Channel AMD mobo?
do you want the DIMMs to fight or something?

The only real benefit to having dual channel DDR is if you are using onboard video, so having a motherboard with dual channel DDR and without integrated video would be pretty much pointless.

Like they said, dual channel is pretty useless unless you got onboard video. The nforce boards do support dual channel (I have an Nforce2). But I bought it with future upgrades in mind like Barton, SATA and DDR400. Dont get one for the dual channel feature alone.

They make a Tbred B 2400+ now don't they?
Unlock one of those and run it @ 200x11.5
That would get you benefits of dual channel DDR 400 now (Nforce 2)

Nforce2 SPP. Onboard features are nice so I dont totally get why u would want a bare board. There is many Nforce2 baords that just offer the basics!
