DDR3 RAM - Match brands?

I have a Studio 1558 where I had to swap one of the RAM sticks. I originally had 2 x 2GB 1333MHz Hynix RAM sticks. The replacement Dell sent me was a Samsung RAM stick at 1333MHz. Should I request them to send me the same brand? Does it matter performance wise?

No, the only time specific ram matters, as long as it is the same CAS latency and frequency, is for overclocking since different sticks overclock differently and then you're forced to use the worse timings. However for running at stock speeds/latencies, it will be perfectly fine.

If they don't have matched timings, you'll probably end up using the worse set of timings. Not a big deal though. Timings hardly matter.
