I just ordered a intel x48 motherboard. And of course after looking at the manual for it online, it says you cannot use 4 sticks of pc 1600 ram. Is this true? Is their some kind of limitation with with pc 1600 ram. And if you can't run it at 1600 couldn't you just drop the ram to 1333?

Thanks

It's not the RAM, it's the chipset. Any chipset can OC only so far with 2 modules. It will OC less with 4 modules. The only way to know for sure is to put in 4 modules and OC it and see what happens.
