DDR2 mem Voltages & motherboards....

Ok....

I am trying to buy a C2D system. I keep reading stuff about how some motherboards default to 1.8volts for DDR2 mem. Like Gskill and OCZ memory default volts are 2.1. So.....what am I supposed to do? I have OCZ XTC PC2-6400 800mhz memory right now unopened and was just considering buying that Gskill HZ stuff instead. Both default to 2.1volts. I am considering that Gigabyte DS3 mobo or perhaps that Asus P5B-E.

If I am understanding this incorrectly, please correct me. How am I supposed to install the memory if the motherboard defaults to 1.8volts. What the hell? What genius thought that up. Im supposed to buy some crappy memory that has low volts so I can get into the bios initially and change it, then swap it for my good memory? F---THAT.
