ddr2-400 mix with ddr2-533?

Not to thread highjack but I was told by Gigabyte support that DDR2-400 memory will not work with their DS3 board, the website actually lists supported memory for that board as: DDR2 800/667/533 memory. Can someone confirm you actually run DDR2-400 memory with it? I really would like to reuse my memory. Thanks!
 
he's asking about mixing speeds.. not if ds3 supports mixing speed

yes and im running my ntoebook using 1gb ddr2 -400 and 512mb ddr2 -533

0 problems.
