DDR with P3

Has anyone used one of the mb like the asus tusl2-c that allows you to use ddr memory with a P3? The review I read said little performance gain. With a 1g cpu and a Ti4600-My memory bandwidth has got to be the bottleneck in my system.I have my socket 370 pluged via adapter into a slot-1 mb so was thinking of getting a socket 370 mb anyway.

The P3 was designed to wrok with SDRAM. It really can't use the extra bandwith of DDR and you will see little or no performance gain. Save your money for a XP or P4 Northwood upgrade.

Thanks for the input insaneman.
Probably will go with a P4 after the 533fsb has time to mature.Just like playing around with what I got while I'm waiting. But it sounds like that would just be a waste.

ASUS TUSL2-C is a SDRAM only board..Does not use DDR.

I second that... I sell those boards every day at work, they only have SDR, PC133 slots. DDR dimms are physically different, wont even fit
