DDR RAM Trouble

Hi:
I've bought an ASUS A7V266-C motherboard with an AMD Athlon XP 1800+ system.
I've also got the following hardware:

* nVidia GeForce2
* TWO Realtek Ethernet adapters
* Sony CD-RW 48x

I've originally bought two Markvision DDR 266 Mhz. RAM modules of 256Kb and I constantly got Blue Screens running WinXP. I also tried installing Win2000 and got the same problem. So after searching in some forums, I tried changing the RAM for TWO Spektek DDR 266 Mhz. RAM 256Kb. Now I get those blue screens (the code is IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL or DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and in different drivers, sometimes ntoskrnl.exe, sometimes nvidia.dll, sometimes cmaudio.sys). I want to know if someone knows if I could solve this problem by buying a better RAM, like Kingstone, or if there is any possible solution to this problem. I've tried reinstalling Windows, tweaking some BIOS settings. I've got the latest drivers for all devices, all signed. If I try running the computer with just one module (i.e., with 256 insted of 512 Mb of RAM), it runs perfectly.
The blue screen generally popups when running heavy applications, specially heavy games such as SimCity 4.

Thanks 🙂
