It seems like thses questions never end. What is the differnace between pc1600, pc2100 and pc2400 ddr ram and which type should i get? I am getting a Athelon 1.33 266fsb on a ddr mobo (not sure which mobo yet)
Can someone help?
It was not this hard to get things straight 2 years ago when i built my first pc. 🙁

<< It's like pc100, pc133, and pc150. >>

yep. that's the simplest way of explaining it. a good ddr mobo is the epox 8k7a

PC1600 = PC100 X 2
PC2100 = PC133 X 2
PC2400 = PC150 X 2

If you won't be overclocking your RAM, you need to get PC2100 RAM. I suggest getting it from Crucial.com - it's cheap and reliable 🙂

If you'll be significantly overclocking your RAM, you need to get PC2400. Crucial doesn't offer this, unfortunately.
