Hi all,
I am again here asking for a bit of help. I am ready to build my new system -- AMD x2 4800+ 939 on my new Asus A8R32-MVP mobo. I know there are a load of problems or issues at times with types of RAM with different mobos and chipsets. I need to purchase new RAM (2 X 1024 DDR) for this mobo and will be OC'ing aggressively like all the other of my systems. I normally go for regular value type OCZ RAM but recently having some issues with it doing anything OTHER than stock and with relaxed timing. Could anyone give my a few pointers on what they suggest especially if they have this board? Corsair? Gskill? Muskin?? any links to online retailers? I am in Canada so if any Canucks have a link to TigerDirect or NCX for types of RAM they have used successfully please feel free to chime in!
thanks!
I am so confused now on types of RAM.. used to be that OCZ you could not go wrong.. then Kingston.. then Corsair.. ARG>. now they make bioses for different types of RAM>> OMG i Just want RAM that can do say 2225 -235 MHz with decently tight timings.. I mean would love 500 (250DDR) but does not have to be that. I don?t honestly see my X2 4800 going to 3 Ghz (12X250).. but maybe 2800 1/1 would be great!!
thanks Bobs
