I will be upgrading soon to a P4/DDR based system
I would like to use the RAID function to give additional IDE HD capabilities.
The board choice is limited to G/Byte GA 81RXP, MSI 850 Ultra ARU, Soyo P4I Fire Dragon and ABIT BD7-RAID.
From what I have read, owners of both the Soyo and MSI seem to have problems using the RAID in this fashion.
Does anyone know whether the Gigabyte and BD7 have the same problems?

I am using the RAID now and set it up Friday, so far NO problems and system is quite stable, I am not OC'ing.
