With the upcoming DDR chipsets, has anyone heard of multiplier control features being built in <edit> to the motherboards (not the chipsets) </edit>? It sems to make sense that Asus or ABIT would probably continue to support it in their newer motherboards, at least in the next generation. I wonder if the recent changes in AMDs pinouts will cause manufacturers to drop support, since the new chips are truly locked (sort of). I am ready to buy a new mobo, but don't want to waste the money on an unlocked chip right now if DDR boards aren't going to support the mod.
On another note, what's up with search? The 5 char limit kinda sucks if you want to search for DDR 🙂
