I was interested in getting a ddr motherboard and am leaning towards the iwill ka-266. I would like to know if I could use pc133 memory in a ddr motherboard..I know you can't use ddr memory in a non-ddr motherboard, but I woundered if you could. I would like to get some 2100 ddr modules, but I want to wait until the price comes down and the availability comes back up.

Also, I have an ata-66 hard drive I want to use with this as well. Can anyone tell me if it will work? I went to the iwill website and it was confusing:

On Board IDE:
Dual ATA 100/66/33 IDE Channels

I/O Interface:
2 x ATA/100 IDE Ports

Can anyone confirm that it will work with ata 66's?

Thanks in advance

The Iwill KA-266 will only take DDR memory, however the new VIA KT266 boards supposedly allow you to use either pc133 or DDR.

Your ata-66 hard drive should work fine on the Iwill KA-266.
