DDR Memory

I have always seen DDR Ram which features a CAS latency of 2.5

Is there a version which has a CAS of 2?

Thanks.

Yes it can. Kingmax DDR also capable to run CAS2. Merry Xmas to all.

as a side note, wasnt there some rumor going around that for their DDR memory, Crucial didnt follow the JDEC timings, but rather the "IBM timings" which are more "rigid" or some such, and that the crucial 2.5 was actaullt cas2 in JDEC or something .....

clarification .. no i dont think this, i just seem to remember this being posted a few times, anyone remember this? ..

OCZ makes memory that is capable of running at CAS2. Corsair makes PC2400 CAS2 memory. Kingmax makes memory that can operate at CAS2. Any PC2400/2700 memory should run at CAS2 at 133MHz without a problem.

I got Samsung DDR266 (K4H280838C-TCB0) and TwinMos PC2100 memory modules for SOYO dragon Plus and ASUS A7V266-E motherboards. But, both motherboards have problem to bootup. Did I get wrong DDR for these motherboards? Are they good memories?
