Somewhere I saw a listing for a ddr motherboard that said pc1600 only. Is this common? Or do most ddr motherboards take any of the ddr ram, pc800, pc1600, pc2100, etc?
Thanks guys

I haven't heard of it. Most ddr mobo's work w/ pc2100 ram. I thought pc800 ram was rdram?

One of the chipsets was set to run no faster than the pc1600. Seems like you could use the 2100 but not get the benifit. (pc800 is rd-ram)

Yeah, didn't mean to stick that pc800 in there. Oops. Thanks for the info, now I just gotta find which mobo to use. :)
