I am going to be building a DDR system soon as was wondering if I should get two 128MB's or one 256.

Yes, I know you don't have to put them in pairs. But I was wondering if you get more performance with two. Like 4-way interleaving between two.

Any ideas on this?

There are advantages with going with one 256mb stick. It costs less and then there is room for more in the future should you decide that you need more.

Most DDR boards only have 2 DDR slots so going for 2 128 sticks will limit future upgradability if you ever decide to use more than 256MB of memory.

So does anyone have an opion on useing two for interleaving?
Do any of the DDR chipsets support that?
