OK, I'm on a budget and would like to get my computer soon I've been waiting forever. I could afford it right now if I were to get 500 mb DDR 500 (i could always to 1 gig later) OR if i get a little more money i could buy a gig of DDR 400.. I'm gonna us this computer for Americas army and UT 2004.

gig of ddr400

EDIT: get the Corsair Value Select if you are going a64. more than likely you can hit more than 200 fsb with it...

I'm getting dual channel and I was looking at this PQI Turbo series..
PQI
or the more expensive corsair TWINX
Corsair

(this is in canadian dollars)

278.00 for corsair TWINX
243.00 for PQI turbo series

from what i hear, PQI are good ram

Get DDR 400. That's the highest spec for stock speeds--and if you don't overclock, value CL 2.5 RAM is just fine (like that Corsair Value Select). If you plan to overclock quite a bit, jpeyton recommends some 2-2-2 Patriot RAM (rated for DDR400 but overclocks well), which uses TCCD chips.
