DDR 500?

OK, I'm on a budget and would like to get my computer soon I've been waiting forever. I could afford it right now if I were to get 500 mb DDR 500 (i could always to 1 gig later) OR if i get a little more money i could buy a gig of DDR 400.. I'm gonna us this computer for Americas army and UT 2004.

EDIT: get the Corsair Value Select if you are going a64. more than likely you can hit more than 200 fsb with it...

I'm getting dual channel and I was looking at this PQI Turbo series..

or the more expensive corsair TWINX

Oh, and just incase it mattters heres teh parts I'm looking at getting:

ASUS A8N-SLI
Athlon 64 3000+ (939 pin)
Segate Barracuda 80 Gb 7200 rpm Serial ATA
Memory?

from what i hear, PQI are good ram

Get DDR 400. That's the highest spec for stock speeds--and if you don't overclock, value CL 2.5 RAM is just fine (like that Corsair Value Select). If you plan to overclock quite a bit, jpeyton recommends some 2-2-2 Patriot RAM (rated for DDR400 but overclocks well), which uses TCCD chips.
