DDR 312 @ CL 2.0 huge performance drop vs ddr 466 @ CL 2.5?

Hey all, ran into a bit of a bump w/ my overclocking when i switched to 4x1gb DDR. I had to reduce my ram speed when i went to 4x1gb, the ram dividers are'nt working w/ the 4 sticks i got cause despite all being OCZ EL platinum they turned out to be different ram chips, so 1 set works w/ certain dividers and the other set doesnt, im stuck using the 100 divider, so i can have only DDR 156 (@ CL2.0 312 effective). Before w/ 2 sticks i was running @ ddr 234 (466 effective) but @ CL 2.5.

My question is, will DDR 156 @ CL 2.0 really cripple performance compared to DDR 234 @ cl 2.5? The A64 line has the memory controller on the CPU, so i imagine ram bandwidth @ 156 would be enough to keep my opty 165 @ 2.8ghz cpu fed?(its still running dual channel too)

thanks in advance.

that's a pretty big drop in mhz... as i recall i would give 50mhz to get 1t timing on my amd's... i don't think the cas2 to 2.5 makes as big a difference...
