DDR 2700 memory

It will run just like ordinary PC2100 unless you OC your mobo. Then it may fare better at higher FSB's than regular PC2100.

Im wondering if my memory is holding me back. I am running my system at 115 fsb right now which puts the memory at 153mhz. If I go to 120 then its at 160 and I get lockups and the comp will restart on its own also. I am kinda suprised I figured Crucial 2100 would do better in the o/c department. I have been looking at some Corsair memory which has been taken to 166 mhz on 2 different mobo's that Corsair tested it on. The other bad thing about this system is the mobo doesnt have alot of memory settings to try and keep the memory within limits, its the Soyo P41 fire Dragon board.

160Mhz for a Crucial DDR2100 is really pushing it. What voltage is the RAM running at?? What are your latency timings??

I agree, however, I saw a link to a website that had overclocked some memory but kept it stable still at taht speeds and were able to OC some CrucialDDR2100 to 40% or something over the standard FSB all the way to 187mhz!! :Q

Whoa 187 MHZ !! that is really rocking for Crucial Pc2100 the highest I could ghet mine to go was 150 Mhz

If your talking about the article in the link, I think its 187 FSB not mhz. They dont say what divider is being used in the test. So I am confused about how fast the memory is running in the link.
