I've used DDNS from both DynDNS and Zoneedit previously, about 5 years ago when I was just toying around. Today, I'm actually planning on setting up my domain to be hosted at home, as I'd like to run my own email host and while I'm at it my web host. I'm on cable, thus a dynamic IP (though it stays static more often than not) so I will likely need a DDNS host.

While it's still there, and still appears to be free, Zoneedit has not appeared to have "upgraded" any.

DynDNS, well it's not free. At least not with your own domain.

TZO isn't free either.

Any suggestions?

I use zoneedit to host multiple domains at my house and it works great. The service is free and they offer mail store and forward for a real small fee which is nice!

I've had a normal DNS entry pointed at my "dynamic" cable ip for over a year now. The only time it changed was when I got a new router. Just a thought :p
