But there are a bunch of different files... which one should i use? I know at first i ahve to use the initial special file. But after that?

Is it worth it to use this dd-wrt
 
Best bet is just to the standard generic one (3.5mb) (standard generic dd-wrt.v24_st_generic.bin). I love DDWRT, lots of features and very stable (no more random lockups and reboots)

ok cool. Sounds good. Its just as easy as logging into router and selecting file to load?
