Ive been using ddwrt for a while now, not for any particular reason its just netgear stopped updating my WNDR3700v1 so I figured might as well try it. Its been great, ive stuck openwrt on it now and apparently it gets a bad rap for not having a GUI? As far as I can tell it seems to have one so dunno whats up with that criticism. Openwrt seems a lot like linux, its got a built in package manager type thing, I added a QoS package and now it does QoS, pretty cool.

What do you guys think? Anyone else tried both?

Gargoyle (OpenWRT) works great, very stable. I use that and Tomato Shibby.

I just use DD-WRT and like the features. Don't want to mess around with a none GUI interface. I have IPtables in the firewall and use the built in SSH server.
