"DCOM EXPLOIT attack from (IP Address)"

Can't read it, but MS communications sends out port 137 and 139 traffic all day long. It could even be a false positive. Context?

While connected to the Internet, Avast would randomly abort incoming connections it deemed harmful by DCOM EXPLOIT. No idea what it is or why they were popping up suddenly as I was just playing Dawn of War 2 on Steam and talking with a friend when they started appearing.

I scanned my PC for viruses over night and came up with nothing. Even my secondary HDD came up clean. Nothing has popped up today, but I have only been home for an hour, so we will see what happens later tonight.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what is causing this and how to rid my computer of this? Until those messages started appearing, I had no lag on anything I did and now I cannot even watch a movie or play a game without experiencing massive stuttering on odd occasions where lag should not even occur.
