"Sources told NBC News that the passenger who was subdued was a Qatari diplomat. "

After further review, it appears he was just smoking a i love you.

Despite what the people say I think the full body scan machines are a must. I can't believe people are crying about it.

Maybe he was just lighting a match to cover the bathroom malodor.

Like I said before, just up and ban people from flights. No people on airplanes = no way for people to try and blow up/hijack flights.

Aside from being a gross invasion of privacy, yeah, they're perfectly fine. Then again if they hired security guards that were actually competent, we wouldn't have these problems.

People are crying about it because they're expensive, violate privacy, and are worthless. If somebody wants to blowup a plane, an Xray machine won't see the explosives.

No it won't. What if a woman gets on with C4 breast implant? What if I want to get on with explosives up my ass. Easy surgery's an easy way around that.

Are you high? Seriously, are you high? If the scanner were there it would detect her tits, the explosives up your ass..

well, fuck it, they need to buy that machine that could tell that i was smuggling pork snacks deep inside my luggage.

damn it, the least they could do is let me eat it instead of tossing it in the trash and scan my passport.

my guess is this will turn out to be someone who was caught smoking in the bathroom and made a poor joke to the air marshall. I can't imagine a terrorist would admit to someone he was trying to light his shoes on fire in the lavatory.

I hope they strip him of his Dip. immunity and throw him in solitary for the rest of his life.
