DC forums might need a little TLC

I don't post in FI very often, but this week I have seen some distrubing trends in the DC forums.

I know normally the AT Mods have given us a lot of lattitude and let us conduct our affairs, but I feel we have a problem developing.

This week there have been two threads in particular (amoung others with the potential) where members posted what seemed to me (I could be way off base) to be deliberately picking fights (flamewars if you will)

I don't think there is a particular thread or member that needs immediate attention because the episodes I am referencing have 'run their course' but I am asking that maybe a slightly closer eye on this particular forum might be in order for a litle while.

This nonsense needs to be nipped in the bud if possible

You are wasting your time Sid. There are much worse forums around here that aren't getting any TLC. Some people are even leaving AT.

You know, the DC forums break out in flames about once a year, it's just a normal cycle in the life of TA. You guys have a number of people who have been with the team for some time now and offer a level-headed view, so I don't really think you need any more moderation than you already have, you'll work it out.🙂

Yes, we have seen this before. And I agree that left to ourselves, this will work itself out with time (and a little patience). I have been involved eith TeAm AnandTech long enough to see it for myself... more than once. My concern is that if this is left entirely to "pecking order" innocent parties may suffer for the mistakes of those with more... "political clout".

But none the less, I do have faith in the fourm itself and will still be an eager participant when it has all played out.
