DC Chinatown dying

JEDI

DC chinatown is only 2 blocks long. We're down to like 5 chinese restaurants now 🙁

The Chinatown police substation also closed.

And the only chinese grocery store closed last year also.

RIP DC Chinatown

They're the same ones. They just do that to avoid having to pay for reforming the health inspection violations.

I notice that too when the first time I arrived on the Chinatown bus from New York City.

The INS building is close by maybe? =)

It's a little hardr to swim 8k miles and then run from la to washington dc. I dont think illegal immigration is such a big issue with people 12 timezones away.

I spent 20 months in D.C. and didn't know it had a China Town. DUH

DC's Chinatown has never been much. Only after they added that arch did they even start talking about it in the press as "Chinatown".

I hope the restaurant that has the guy making hand made noodles in the window closes down. It was the worst chinese food my family has had.

xiao long bao was dry,
soup was bland,
chicken was dry,

i hope they close down. I give that place a

i was in DC last fall, and i saw a few blocks that appeared China-Townish. I thought about eating there, but I wasn't hungery.

Whats a good restuarant? I'll be back next month.
