DC: Are there any FREE ISPs still out there?

Before someone yells OFF TOPIC, we have several new members that have AOL as their ISP.

They have joined TeAm AnandTech but have no way to post in the forums. If I steer them to a edit: [FREE ISP SERVICE] that is acceptable here in the AnandTech Forums, they will have a much better experience as a TeAm Mate.

Edit: It seems the problem is not a FREE EMAIL SERVICE (as pointed out by Freewolf). AOL users are blocked no matter what email service they use. Thanks for the replies. I have changed the title of the thread. :)

it doesn't matter about the email address, as long as they use aol as an isp they will not be able to post here. All aol ip ranges are banned by Anandtech.
Adul can give them an atofftopic.com email account if asked.

From what I know there was problems with some person using an aol account trying to hack the forum or dos . Something like that anyway when they asked aol for help they was basicly told it wasn't aol's problem and wouldn't block the guy's account or anything so Anandtech had to block aol's whole ip range to stop the problem.

Ah yes, I see the problem. Well, I sent him some links to our offsite forums. ;)

You might try..

mail.ragingbull.com

I think that one works.

(It's been open for at least 4 years as it was/is both our RC5/SETI e-mail ;) )

Give it a try! :)

Just tried it...worked! :)

MyRealBox

Pretty good service, been using them for over a year. 10MB of storage, and the domain name isn't anything silly. Worst thing about it is, its somewhat of a test server for Novell, so there is some downtime every once and a while.

Try it out! I like it.

Netzero still has a free 10hr/month account available. That's not much, but would work for browsing the DC forum.

NetZero, I didn't know they still offered a free service. Thanks, I'll pass that along to him (hopefully, he may be reading this thread). ;) :)
