why does anyone need this ? new camera's come with a easy to use USB cable right ??
atleast Canon's work fine.

anyways this reader is soon to be obsolete because of xD cards, newer Sony stick formats, smaller sized MMC cards ans smartmedia/MS being dead. save your money for something more worthy.

people might not want to use their batteries to transfer images

I bought one of these when it first came out and have never had a problem with it. If you can believe Toshiba, they are supposed to be making an x-D > CF adapter, so this reader would still work. I think the reason they had so many complaints is that they put a big USB 2.0 sticker on the package when in fact this is really a 12Mb/Sec reader.

i wish it was an internal drive thats on sale. i have way too many devices on my desk and i dont need to add another one.

nice deal tho.
