Starting to watch the tv coverage.....who's the schmuck they've got as the main announcer? Don't they normally use the guy that also does the espn tv coverage? Ugh his voice is annoying already.

On the plus side it looks like they are doing commercials as an inlay to the broadcast so you can always be watching the race.

They fired Bill Weber but would not give a reason why.

This guy Ralph Shaheen has been around for years covering pit stops.

He absolutely sucks as the lead announcer.

He must be blowing somebody.

Kyle tried to block Tony one too many times and went hard into the wall. Tony won and several more cars piled into Kyle...

yep; with the COT and the rules made so that the top drivers have minimal differences between each other when on the track if you get 6 inches you take it; tony took it and kyle tried to grab it back and ended up into the wall for it.

I'd be interested in seeing the entire list of cars damaged by the last wreck, should well pass the one from earlier in the race.

And kyle should thank Kahne for getting him over the line

Kyle slammed very hard into the wall, was rear ended full bore by Kahne, then hit in the driver's door full bore by Logano...

Watching it live it looked at first like TS "pitted" KB but on replay you can see where KB tried to block and just was not far enough of TS to do so. Can't blame TS for this one, what's he supposed to do, get out of the throttle and let KB complete the block?, last lap 2 Daytona, not gonna happen. Interestingly that's the exact same kind of wreck/scenario that did in Dale Sr..

Busch did a smart thing by not commenting. You could tell from his mannerisms that he was pissed and probably thinks Tony bumped him. But the replays show quite the opposite. Tony was up to his rear tire and Busch hit him while trying to block.

Busch, Smart, and a Microphone is a new concept. :D

Maybe, just Maybe he's finally learned his lessons.

Helluva race though.
