Where DOES the time zone changeover in Florida? Being from Alabama I visit Florida quite a bit on beach trips, but rarely venture past Panama City which is still Central time zone. Is the crossover around Tallahassee? You guys were the forgotten people during the whole Florida election mess. I remember pretty much all the major media outlets 'calling' the state of Florida as being a lock for Gore as soon as the polls closed in the EASTERN time zone portion of the state, even though a smaller, but still fairly signficant amount of people are in the Panhandle region in the Central time zone and had not yet finished voting or even gone to the polls yet.

It changes just east of Panama City, near the beach town of Mexico Beach.

Wow I didn't know that. I assumed it was South of you.

so what time is it now? i got 1:34 EST

You're not supposed to set them ahead (and back in the Fall for that matter) until 2am, so technically it would be Sunday morning.

Mleh, windows will do it for me.

Windows will even do your alarm clock beside your bed, and the clocks in your living room? What program are you using for that? 😉

Sorry, its top secret stuff. 😛

Wow, that means when I leave class it'll still be light out. Course it means it'll be dark when I get up for class, but you can't win em all. :/

No DST in Arizona. Who wants an extra hour of 110 degree weather?

Believe me, here in Connecticut, I don't think Spring/Summer will ever get here. All last week it was in the 30's, and today it's making up to a balmy 42°F. Wooo F'n Hooo, heat wave. Saturday morning I woke up to snow on my car. It's freakin April, enough already. [sarcasm]I really love 7 months of winter, October-April.[/end sarcasm].

Yeah, but you get an extra hour of daylight every night to do stuff outside!
