Cant believe its that time again... although this time we gain one hour, I still hate it. If one of the next presidential candidate promises to take it down, he will get my vote, no matter what his stand is on any other issue, I DO NOT CARE, he will be my hero.

We lose an hour. Shorter weekends suck.

We set the clocks one hour forward. We don't gain an hour, we lose an hour.

Setting clocks back is great, it means getting up an hour later every day. Putting them forward though, sucks monkey balls. It means when I'm getting up at 6am it's more like 5am. Never really adjust from that either. At least once summer hits it's light out at those times so it makes up for it. Much easier to get up when the sun is out.

I'll be working night shift this weekend so I don't really have to worry about losing an hour. In fact I will end up working 11 hours instead of 12, but still get paid for 12. It's more fun working night when it's fall though, because I work 13 hours and get paid an hour of OT. :D

But like I think everyone agrees with at this time of year.... let's just abolish this whole system. Pick one, I really don't care which, and stick with it.

Also it seems so early to be doing it already, I blame Bush. I always associate the clock change with spring, but it's nothing but spring. Snow storm season did not even start yet. Unless the 3-6cm we got the other day would be considered a storm. :p

It would be interesting to know if there's even someone out there who agrees with the whole clock change thing. Considering Bush single handedly made the entire country, AND Canada change the date, it seems to me it would not be that complicated to just abolish it completely. If he had been smart, instead of being a monkey face, he would have done just that.

The concept of this time change thing is like cutting a piece off the end of an extension cord and splicing it on the other end to make it longer.

It'd be even better if we got rid of this time changing shit.

Now I can go at 5pm now and not be blinded from a setting sun.

Yup, love the extra hour of daylight later in the day. Getting dark at 5pm is just depressing. Would rather us keep DST year round.

Get up earlier. Changing the clocks doesn't give you an extra anything. It just fucks up my internal clock until things get back on track in early winter.

I'm ready for it. Getting an extra hour of sunlight in the evening makes losing an hour of sleep on a Saturday night well worth it.

I don't mind an extra hour of light but I hate loosing an hour of sleep as I get up at 6am every day for work. Although this means I get to ride my bike after work without worrying about it getting dark if I get stuck in traffic after work. Too bad I need to sell it this spring, whenever this year's spring decides to roll on by.

Read my post again. It has nothing to do with getting up early. I have a two year old. I'm up at 5am every day. It has to do with staying light later into the evening. I like it getting dark at 730pm in the summer vs 5pm in the winter.
