Only stupid people do day trading. You're ALWAYS at a disadvantage to those big investment companies. They have investors who do nothing but sit in front of their computing looking at up to the date information (and the information is MUCH faster than what you can get on TV or over the web, i heard the financial news can lag up to 5-10 minutes for us regular folk while it's almost instantaneous for them), therefor don't do day trading. Just do mutual fund growth stocks if you feel the need to be risky.

These guys usually have a dedicated T1 running directly to their homes. I heard it. True Story.
