Day of Defeat Servers....HELP!

Simply put, there aren't any. :| I just got Day of Defeat, and when ever I try to get a list of DoD servers, I get no results. WTF? CS servers still load up just fine. Where are some DoD servers?

Everytime I refresh the dod servers I get like 200, so they're there. Maybe you have your filters setup wrong.

change the filter from cs servers to dod servers...you can't just switch what mod you're in, you need to manually change the filter also.

I did that. Matter of fact, the only filter I have checked is Game: DoD .

Then I go back, press update, wait, wait, wait, and nothing happens. Thats what CS does when no servers fit the filters...

that is strange... works for me.

BTW... DOD is better than CS in my opinion, and it is still only in early beta! CS is still a good game though.

I restarted and the shortcut icon changed into an actual graphic, but still no luck getting servers.

I would recommend downloading the shareware version of GameSpy. It makes life a lot easier.

Did you check the rest of your filter settings? Maybe you accidently checked something.

Yes I checked, double-checked, and triple-checked my filter settings.

Do you think I need to update Half-Life? I'm not sure what version I have but I downloaded it less than 6 months ago I believe...

6 months. I think they just updated HalfLife a couple of months ago (I'm not sure though)

yea dude a new HL update came out like 2 months ago you need to do an update ...

Sure enough, I'm running 1104, now they have 1106.

However, FilePlanet's getting hit hard, and on my 56k I can't get in. Anyone know of any other places to download the update from? Thanks.

Nevermind, I finally got in at Avault. It's chugging along at 2 or 3k a second.
