So that why no-one elaborated.
So we`ve seen all these people come up with hacks and patches to do what renaming it does, and all they had to do was rename it to quake3.exe, rofl.

i also read somewhere that renaming the file 3dmark2003 (it might have been 2002, i don't remember precisely) also had some interesting results, but i haven't tested that out yet. i will when i get home in an hour, however.

Yes, there are some interesting results too, but its similar, along the same train of thought, just slightly different. Try it 🙂

Ok what am I doing wrong? Installed demo and openGL files to the bin file in this folder:C:\Program Files\Nvidia Corporation\Nvidia Demos\Dawn\bin .Go to the start menu,Nvidia Demos,Dawn and it tells me I need an Nidia video card. I have a 9700pro and Win XP.

😕 😕 😕 😕 😕

renaming the exe to "3dmark2003" didn't do anything for me, unless the change is real real subtle.

I uninstalled it reinstalled it deleted the downloaded files redownloaded them. Yes I did try clicking on the exe file before my first post. I have the Rage3d utility installed, would that make a difference? I am stumped this should be so simple :| There are only three steps: download, install and extract 😕

Can anyone post a pic of the Dawn that isn't corrupted on Radeon? And extra kudos for those who take it while it is renamed quake3 or 3dmark 😉

3dmark03.exe

:Q😀:Q😀:Q😀

"whoa"
The nVidia guys had more time to do this than to fix their nforce2 drivers 😀

Ah, so THAT'S what they're doing. Perfecting the model, then "testing" it out.

Quake3.exe....geez, surprising that a company would release something like that with such an easy-to-find "feature." Is Bill Clinton working at nVidia now?😉
