Okay, last time we did a Davis netmeet, it wound up being fairly small, but we've picked up quite a few students since then, and I figure if we meet somewhere in Sac we can catch the odd Sacramento member as well. Plus, anyone in the Bay Area is welcome to join in, it's not that far at all. What would you guys wanna do, where to meet, what time starting to what time finishing...?

I'd be up for it.

I've had limited exposure to Sac so unless you want to meet in an empty concert hall or Frys, hopefully someone else has some ideas :)

Woot, go davis!

I'm moving back up September 1st! So excited.... I can't wait... Why October 13th, EngineNr9? I'm up for pretty much any date but the first couple days of September.

There are a couple pretty nice restaurants in Sacramento. Maybe we should go to Old Sac or somethign? Or Arden, thats pretty popular...

Oh well. Bumpy.

I'd be down with maybe getting together. I live about an hour east of Sac in the Sierra foothills, but I go down to Sac very often. But I go back to school at UCSD on Sept 21 so for me it'd have to be sooner. But I don't want to screw up everyone elses schedule so don't plan around me

I'll be in Sac on the 13th, otherwise I don't want to drive up both Saturday and Sunday. Don't plan around me though.

Problem is, if this goes late, us UCD students have class the next day. Sleep is a good thing. And Stojakapimp, all the Davis students will be back in town on the 26th, so doing it before then doesn't work for a large portion of the probable attendees.

Stein auf!
Is that supposed to mean "Rock On!"?

Hehe... it sort of does... in a literal translation.
But it also sort of doesn't. "Auf" usually means on top of...
still though...

Yeah, I know. There's a band, Lost & Found, who went to Germany and tried changing their usual "rock on" into German. That's what they wound up with, apparently the closest literal translation is stone on top of, but they use it in their concerts now. :) So, Stein auf!

I was going to move up to Sac so it would have been totally cool, but I didn't have to move up there afterall. I'll see if I can make it up there though. Sounds like fun. :)
