Davis Powerbeam VI DLP Projector problems... any ideas?

Davis Powerbeam VI (my new toy)

Symptoms:
It powers up, and then turns right off.

I will butcher it soon, and take the multimeter to it, but other than that, I am stumped. I honestly would rather have a "pro" take a look at it, providing i can find a place that is rather cheap.

So, providing this isnt a simple fix, do you have any suggestions as to cheap electronics places?

Head over to AVS forum and ask in the projector forums, someone may even help you troubleshoot it there.

I posted there as well. I can only hope that fishing in a pool of tech savvy people will provide some help.
