Almost 20 years after back-flipping onto kids' TV sets as the nerdy Blue Ranger on Fox's "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers," David Yost opened up to No Pink Spandex about his stint on the show. And during the three-part interview, Yost revealed just what happened behind-the-scenes when his character was written off the show (and sent to live on another planet): Yost actually walked off set one day after being teased about being gay.

Well, that's disconcerting. Mmm no wait, I don't care. Power Rangers sucked anyways. Now if you told me that Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, or Michelangelo were gaybashers, then I'd be brokenhearted. Everyone knows that Splinter was a little homophobic, though.

Power rangers sucked, yes... but it was campy awesome!

I always wondered why Billy seemed to be getting written off after season 2... and then when he finally left.... now i know why.

Maybe he needs to develop a thicker skin. Men tend to tease each other just about anything. It's the way we are.

everyone knew the blue ranger was gay, pretty ridiculous how that went down though. I don't blame him for walking

From Wiki:

After Yost left Power Rangers, he tried to "get rid" of his homosexuality with "Pray the Gay Away" for two years.

Some homos bring it on themselves, by expecting that everyone should not only accept them but be thoroughly enchanted with commonplace mention of their sex lives or predilections in the bedroom as well.. e.g. The "routineness" with which the sitcom "Will and Grace" dropped thinly-veiled references to anal sex was pretty annoying.

I hate it when straight people walk around with their kids. it's like, we get it. you're breeding. do you really need to rub everyone's faces in your rampant heterosexuality?

Hopefully someone made a lot of money by forcing you to watch Will & Grace.

I bet you really really did not enjoy that show.

It started out as a decently funny show, until they started having Jack (or to a lesser extent, one of the other characters) refer jokingly to someone's "tushy" and other homo-erotic sexual innuendo five or six times every episode.

It started out funny until they introduced a flaming gay guy.

Right.
