<< Thank you everyone. My Attorney called again and he said $5,000 Bond. We will find out next Tues or Wed as far as trial date. Monday is a State Holiday. It is 8 Felony Counts for 120 Years. Each count is $50,000 fine plus the $415,000 restitution and damages. >>


I see that Georgia upped the ante considerably!

That is a total of $815,000 and the rest of his life in jail!

This is what I hate most about trials. The tremendous amount of waiting that is involved. Numerous times a week I come by here just to check if there is any news about the case. If it is this annoying to me, I can't even begin to imagine how Dave and his family must feel.

Hang in there David and here in Holland we're trying to get the media involved bij sending them e-mails explaining what is going on. I hope some of these things will help you to get out of this mess. 🙁

I want to take this opportunity, to thank everyone who has supported us during this trying time in our lives. I was hoping that the end of this year, we could leave it with better news and have this nightmare over with, but we won't. We will stride on, though, and hope with the new year to come, we can face whatever will happen. We are still overwhelmed of all the supporters all over the world and has made my belief in people come true that there is still some good out there. With everything going on in the world today, you still pulled through for David and supported him and that means so much. This whole thing is so unnecessary and for people to continue to try and destroy our lives is unbelievable to us......you try and keep your nose clean and mind your own business, but some people just won't let you. We hope you have a Peaceful and Joyous Holiday Season. Life is tough for some of us right now, I know some of you are unemployed and going through things, but let us not forget that God has a plan for all of us........put your troubles and pains in his hands and he will take care of it for you. 1. Dave is innocent until proven guilty.
2. The "law" he is alleged to have broken was intended for "hackers" with malicious intent, who create and use virus to break into computer networks, who run DoS attacks, etc., with the intent to damage or steal, not to make a criminal out of decent law abiding citizens, who's only act was installing a harmless screensaver, completely without malice or intent to harm.
3. Since the Geogia AG office doesn't have a clue about how to catch the real hackers, they've twisted the vauge poorly written "cybercrime" law in order to prove they are tough on cybercrime.
4. The punishment and penalties are so far out of line with what happened as to be utterly rediculous. There are real criminals, murderers, rapists, bank robbers, who get charged with less. And that's just not right, no matter who would be charged.
5. Dave has lost 2 jobs becuase of this, and the financial burden of defending himself keeps growing. He's more than paid for what he did, which was nothing.
