that looked greenscreened to me.

aye..the end looked so fake

I thought the same... but the audience would have to be in on it (which I wouldn't put it past them)

the thing that threw me off, is that the spot light didn't cast a shadow of his 'real' legs while he was dissconnected. it stopped right at his abdomen :Q

It looks like he has trick pants and a trick shirt? Did you see how stiff his shirt was and how his torso is longer than it is supposed to be?

Meh to the trick in the OP. But I do have his DVD. So when I get home tonight, I can encode the flying clip and post it. It's most definitely one of the most breathtaking magic tricks around.

i think the audience is in on it and this is just a produced "trick"

He does his shows live... because i've seen it live.

what i'm saying is i think the audience was in on the trick, and were only there to lend credibility to the trick

My MSPaint skills are lacking, but here's the best I could come up with :

His torso is twisted so that he appears as if he's facing forwards. His knee's are bent at the appropriate knee length of the pants. There's surely something in said pants for it to keep it's form. Then he just hopped his way down the steps and then slid back into his pants.

It's hard to decribe exactly what I'm imagining. =/ But I bet with some work and a lot of practice, it can be done that way.

holy smoke and mirrors batman, is there enough blue lighting and smoke floating around. And of course the stage is made of glass, yeah look you can see right through the glass and there is nothing to see underneath wow I fooled you. I like pen and teller better.

So how does that explain the OTers that saw it live? Your argument has been beaten with a stick to the point of redundancy. Its like playing pictionary and you're the guy going "IS IT A JACKAL?! A JACKAL? JACKAL?! IS IT A JACKAL? JACKAL!?
