David Blaine? I saw one of those Fox "magic tricks revealed" specials and he only levitates a bit for the audience. He uses his foot hidden behind his other foot to lift himself a little. The big levitating is done later with a cable. In those scenes, you can only see the back of the audience.
 
I don't get it, he was levitating like a foot on the streets, so no cables, and if he uses one foot, then wouldn't you see it on the ground?
 
I saw this show where he was going around on the street and he did it on the street. The guy is definatly talented but superbly crazy for some of the stuff he does.

Card tricks definatly rock though 🙂
 
He is extremely talented with his card tricks. Some of what he does is too unbelievable and must be rigged. I doubt he is the devil or a demon... The whole levitation thing is too weird.

well he does talk about his dead mom a lot. my theory is that she is helping him do the tricks. he is the demon i tell you.
 
i already questioned this a couple of days ago, the guy is defiently not human. hes either the anti-christ, the devil, or some alien.
 
The way he levitates a foot off the ground is similar to the way that Fox showed you how to levitate a few inches off the ground. He just uses mirrors on the bottom of his shoes to make it appear that you can see all the way through.
 
I can't believe you believe what TV tells you to believe! Most of his tricks are rigged to look good on camera. People's reactions aren't always real.

hmmm makes sense, but how does he get the heel of his feet looking like they face forward? and how does he keep the mirrors from getting damaged while he walks?

The people's reactions are real. What they don't show you are the many times that his tricks fail. They also don't show you a lot of what goes on before each trick. He also has people helping him on some tricks (for example, the one where the c ard appears on the inside of a glass window).

Not rigged. The name is written on a piece of paper. he then tears the paper up in fornt of the group. However due to the way the paper was folded and where he tears, the middle of hte paper remains intact. He gets the audience distracted, reads the paper, finds out his/her name.

It was on The Learning Channel, btw.
 

i saw it on tv and if you pay attention, they spend more time showing the audience going crazy than the magic act itself....
they showed blaine levitating and immediately they take the shot away from him and into the audience....

and this is probably why...
