Sweet I just finished reading the latest issue of Rolling Stone. Dave was on the front so I had to pick it up (first issue of RS I've ever bought). After I finish reading the article, it's going up beside this picture in my room

Hate to say this, but Dave can't go on with this neverending sequence of tours and albums and tours and tours and tours and albums ... and tours.
Check out his voice in Central Park. Too much smoking, too much alcohol and too much singing will ruin his carreer.

I just got the 3-disc Central Park set in the mail yesterday. I was playing it in the car this morning. He sounded pretty damn good live IMHO. Then again, I was skipping around between disc 1 and 2 this morning.

He/They are certainly talented and have carved out a nice little niche, but I just dont get the hysterical attraction to them, especially by men.

tbh, dmb is one of the few artists out there that is in it for the music. last fall he was on trl when some devil was released, one of the ''vj's'' asked him what he thought about the whole mp3 riaa deal. he told them that he dosen't care, he allows people to record his live shows because he is playing for the fans, why shouldn't they be able to. he went on to say that the only reason he could think of as to why other artists don't let their fans record live shows is because they suck live. (no joke!)

imo we need more artists like dmb.

Check out Jimi Thing @ 5min, and Crush @ 1m20s .... then compare to other recordings (Listener Supported, Chicago, Red Rocks, or other bootleg).
