Well, short of Dave Matthews pulling the knob or pushing the button himself to realease the poo tank on the bus, I don't see why he should have to apologize. Everyone today wants a damn apology for everything it seems, regardless of what they did or didn't do, everyone seems to think that an apology is obligatory.

untrue; supporting the legalization of MARIJUANA is extremely liberal...supporting the legalization of HEMP is only considered somewhat liberal.

Hemp=not always the smokey stuff, it's also used for rope.
Marijuana=sitting around and getting high.

Having said that, I think DMB is extremely talented and they make fantastic music. It seems like its becoming cool to hate DMB now because they've gotten very popular.

Some of their new stuff is meh, but nothing beats their oldies - and their live albums are ten times better than their studio stuff. Live at Red Rocks 8.15.95 is one of the best live albums I've heard from any band, ever.

Plus, even if you hate Dave, you've got to give him props for supporting fans trading bootleg recordings of their concerts. BMG would've stopped it years ago if Dave didn't keep them from it. bt.etree.org is a good place to look for them.

I get chills listening to "Seek Up" from that album:Q Pure musical and lyrical bliss. But I still have a soft spot in my heart for Dreaming Tree. Lyrically complex and heavy on the instruments...still one of my favorite songs ever.

If you like that version, listen to the version from 7.30.01 if you haven't already. Now THAT version really gives me the chills.

I'll have to look for that version. The version from Live at Luther College is pretty powerful as well.

Judging by the fact that most of DMBs concerts sell out, and (as I have witnessed) people will scale barbed wire fences and try to swim across a river into the venue just to see him, it would suffice to say that if the people with poo on them would have put it in a jar and ebayed it, they would have no reason to complain. :D ;)
