Anyone want to venture a suggestion on how to describe Dave and Buster to visiting friend? arcade, games, food all in one room? =)

That's word for word how I describe it to others. 😉

There's also a surprising amount of couples there. It's kind of the same kind of phenomenon as amusement parks, where the guy feels like a failure unless he wins a massive stuffed animal for his girl. 🙂

I was there last week, and noticed a couple wearing microphones and being followed around by a TV camera. Hmmm... very suspicious! I was hoping it was for an episode of Blind Date or something. It turned out they were taping for a show about perfect matches (coming soon on the Discovery Channel).

Kind of like an ESPNZone, with less focus on sports.

we don't have one of those 🙁

ESPNZone has that many games to play with? Hm... only been to one in Anaheim... and only for games =\

Errrr.... wait a minute. For adults? I don't understand..... does that mean CEC is "not" for adults?

Note to self : "Maybe that is why people look at me funny when I'm drying humping the animatronic singing characters..... HMMMM..."

Speaking of the D&B in San Jose... One night my roommate went with some friends there. When he came back he told me they had a wedding reception there. I don't mean like they rented some sort of private space. They way he described it, people in tuxedos and dresses just showed up. The bride was still in her wedding gown. Sure the place is pretty fun but I can't imagine deciding to have a wedding reception there.
