Will 4 sticks be slower or affect Hyper Transport? I just ordered another 1g Kit so now i have 512, 512, 512, 512...

From what I've read, the only downfall is AMD systems will default to 2T with 4 modules. However, if you have value ram anyway, it's prob already running at 2T...enjoy the extra ram I say!

I don't think dual channel will work with 4 sticks, but I'm not sure the A64s have dual channel...

2T is a memory timing setting, lower is better so you want to be running 1T, which your Kingstin sticks can probably handle fine.

It's won't run at 1T with 4 modules. Someone posted a link to the developer info on AMD's website showing a table with specs for the memory controller, forget where I saw it, and, as I recall, the controller will default to 2T with four modules installed.....correct me if I'm wrong.

With 4 sticks of ram, Winchester or older core will run at 333mhz 2T timings. Venice, San Diego, Manchester, Toledo, and opterons, will run 4 sticks at 400mhz 2T timings. 4 sticks will work fine in dual channel(assuming it's socket 939, since 754 is single channel). 2T timings give around a 3-5% performance hit in most cases, so not really that big a deal.
