Daughter lost iPhone so I replaced using insurance, now she found the phone?

Any idea what should be done in this situation? I'm sure the phone's # has been banned or something.

Lost phones are blacklisted once reported to Apple or the carrier. You can call your carrier and see if they will reactivate it and see if you can return the new one.

U can still sell it if the phone can be reflashed to another carrier. .not sure if it's possible with iPhones

I've had that happen, found my lost phone about 6 months after the fact. I was able to activate the phone with a new sim without issue. I suppose you could call the insurance company - I bet they'd be happy to have it.

Apple can probably reset the device to work again if you wanted.
