Dating Rules

i thought i read somewhere that for asking people out on first dates..you ask them out for a saturday or a sunday, and never a thursday or a friday. also... for first dates.. you go for breakfast or lunch.. and not dinner.. do these 'rules' make any sense?

also, i'm curious to know... what do different hair lenghts convey? like short hair on women? long hair on women? short hair on guys? long hair on guys? guys with no hair? woment with no hair?

ehh.. the 2nd question has nothing to do with the first.. i guess i'k just asking for stereotypes/first impressions when you see someone with certain hair. more of an inane curiousity question than anything else, cuz i didn't want to create a thread on hair

There are NO rules!

If the person is interested in you when you do go out, it won't matter when, where, how long the hair is. Just keep the pulse of the dating vibrant!

That whole post didn't make any sense. Nobody goes out on a first date on Sunday. Or thursday - then you have school or work the next day. You go out on Friday or Saturday. And you go out for lunch or dinner. Unless you got extremely lucky on the first date, there is no breakfast

As for short/long hair? Well, short hair on women obviously means that she is a bull ***. A guy with long hair? Either a hippy or a metal freak, no doubt about that. Guys with no hair - obviously bald. Or neo-nazi skinheads.

Good god - it's 2001 - it's not like hair matters. Geez!!!

The rules for dating are as follows, if you think the other person is nice and/or cute, ask them out. It's as simple as that. As for what hair length conveys, generally long hair means that the person likes having long hair, short hair means they like short hair, no hair (shaved) means they like being bald, no hair(genetic baldness) means, as Toolgirl said, that the person is bald. BTW, your sig is very informative Toolgirl, thanks. It cleared up a lot of confusion I have been having lately. Guess I'm a guy after all.
