There's this girl whom I wanted to date. She's my grandfather's brother's son's wife's sister's daughter. Is there any rule either in Chinese tradition or anything else that forbid me from dating her?

Draw a family tree for all people involved. Connect children to their parents with solid lines, and husbands to their wives with dotted lines. If there is a solid line path batween you and her then it is a no go. Otherwise you are gold. 😉

Why don't you make it in PAINT or Photoshop. Then post it. We will help you determine what to do.
 
Unless the Son's Wife is of some relation, perhaps your dads sister or your Mom, you are probably OK.
