Nah, God doesn't pay his bitches much attention. It's easy to sucker them away from him with some sweet talk. Then BAM: anal sex.

so tolerant that some of them will sleep with everyone after getting married.

true story.

perhaps the secret is to never marry

that's the irony, she wouldn't give it up to anyone before that. so my friend relented and got married.

her talent to attract followers is amazing. she's the leader of a group that's devouted to new age stuff plus lots of sex.

I'm sure there are a number of people who do lak the ability to think for themselves, but I can assure you that believing in God, or being Christian doesn't mean you can't be reasonable, use logic or free thought.

haha i almost pee'd myself when i read that last part of your comment.

I don't know, I've dated a few Christian women and in all reality, they were probably more sexual then the non-christians. So as long as they don't take their religion to seriously, its alright by me. Most Christians at least don't have weird, nonsensical traditions that drive other insane. Like I said, I've yet to meet a Christian girl who took Sodomy seriously, or even sex before marriage mentality. Then again I don't live in the south, so maybe that has something to do with it. I think I'd find more problems with Catholics or Jewish women. "What, your going to eat that bacon I just made and your going to like it. Trust me, god wants you to have it."

I found that it was easy (in my experience) to date someone that was a totally different religion as I. As long as we showed compassion and respect for each other's beliefs -- it worked out great. I was with a Mormon girl for close to two years -- and I'm a buddhist. No problems at all -- but I can imagine how it could be a total pain in the ass.

Well that sounds like one of the stupidest reasons ever to convert.

you're screwed by the lack of screwing

The bible is clearly against withholding sex from one another. Having said that, I'm married to a baptist and she's very, very nonsexual. She thinks that 1 cor 7 is St. Paul's opinion, nothing more.

NIV: Do not deprive each other except by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.

Amplified: Do not refuse and deprive and defraud each other [of your due marital rights], except perhaps by mutual consent for a time, so that you may devote yourselves unhindered to prayer. But afterwards resume marital relations, lest Satan tempt you [to sin] through your lack of restraint of sexual desire.

Despite this passage's clarity, women rarely accept it. I met with a baptist preacher today regarding several topics. We talked about marriage and sex. He told me "....I've been married 35 years and I've never had enough sex."

I guess it's learning to accept that you'll not be getting what you want that is the lesson or moral of the story.

Did I cheer you up any?

Agreed 100%.

Normally I would let this slide, but I am an asshole so I wont today.

Catholics ARE christians. I think AMDZen may have been thinking protestant vs. catholic.

Which is an interesting point.
I have heard from many of my Boston and New York friends that catholic girls are nasty sluts.

My advice to the young: Go to some Catholic school\college parties when you get a chance. Catholic girls are nasty sluts. 😛

Why would Christians date non-Christians and vice versa? You're just asking for complications.

I married one. It's not a big deal.

I know that, but they might as well be seperate. The only thing they share is belief in Christ. I can tolerate Christians, meaning Disciples of Christ, Methodist, and even Baptist's that I've known (once again not southern baptist). Where as, most Catholics are entirely too orthodox for a relationship to ever work out between us. And to be honest, I have little to no respect for most of their "traditions".

But like I said, the Christian women I have met were very moral and ethical, but that doesn't mean they didn't let me go down on them. Or even have them in their entirety, before marriage. I have yet to meet a Christian girl like that, and I probably wouldn't date a Christian that was all - No sex until marriage. Actually I probably would, but I don't think it would work, I'm just being honest with myself on that, not biased.

My main point in this argument was the whole sex thing. I wonder how many Christian women these people talking about that have met. I don't know if this is just a Denver Colorado thing or what. But the Christian girls I've met were very sexual. I would even go out on a limb and say that some of them were the most sexual girls I've ever met. Completely opposite of what you might think.

I believe that for sure. Refer to my last post, because all the christian girls I've known were pretty much the exact opposite of what I would think. Where as the few Catholic girls I've known were very orthodox. I definetely believe you about that though.

We've had our share of problems, but we've been able to work out our differences. Basically, I'm not as much of an ingorant, closed-minded prick as I used to be.

Damn, another one bites the dust!

🙁

its because you have to compare to jesus.

That was exactly true for her mother. I dated a Christian girl for several years. She and I had a good relationship but her mother never accepted me. She looked me in the eye and said, "I'll never let you marry her. You're not good enough for her." I smiled and said, "So who is?" She said, "Only Jesus is good enough for my daughter."

That left me speechless.

I beg to differ on that one.

It really depends on the person.

I would wager that the bulk of wiccans are more tolerant than the bulk of christians. Both sides have obnoxious zealots that should not be used for comparison purposes.

Freaky... the only one good enough for her daughter is someone who's been dead for two millenia 😛

Its those religious types that drive the whole world insane. Most Christians aren't extreme radicals though, so I think this is the minority
