Date and Time

So when you restart the computer after having it shut it down then you find the date is set back to default (1970 presumably)?

If so then your cmos battery is probably out of power and needs replacing. Just buy and fit a replacement.

Thank you for your help.
I change cmos battery but the problem still remains.

Then there is a fault on the motherboard. The battery is the usual cause of this but if its loosing the time on shutdown then the motherboard is at fault its the timer on chip using the cmos battery that keeps this information alive between restarts.
